Jerry Lee’s Music Store Return Policy

If there is any problem with your order, call Jerry Lee’s Music immediately. We want to provide the best service in the industry. Due to our growing sales volume, we may be on the phone when you call. If you get our answering system, leave a brief message and a phone number. We will return your call that day, or the next morning if you call after we close. Our store is in the Eastern Time zone.

All Returns Require:

  1. A “JLMS” Return Authorization number from JL Music Customer Service.

  2. A copy of the invoice included with the authorized return.

  3. Merchandise must be returned within 3 days.

  4. All returns must be in new, resellable condition with all original packaging.

  5. No refunds for any parts, drum heads, or other items that have been installed.

  6. No returns accepted for DVDs, Books, Videos or CDs unless defective.

These will be replaced with the same title only. Software IS NOT returnable once opened or installed.

NOTE: Restocking fee: Returns within 10 days: 5%, after 10 days up to 30 days; 15%. Additional fees may apply. After 30 days, no returns will be accepted. (Restock fees are due to the time spent and paperwork involved.)

  • Shipping charges will not be refunded on returned merchandise.

  • Should there be any exception, i.e. where we cannot replace an item which is defective, only the standard ship charge will be refunded. (i.e. UPS etc. additionals will not be refunded).

  • Additional fees may be charged if the item has been altered or damaged.

  • Any “promo” items included at no charge must also be returned with the original item. If they are not returned, our regular advertised price for those items will be deducted from the refund.

  • The warranty is not provided by Jerry Lee’s Music. We cannot be liable for any damage that results from a product defect or from a specific use of a product.

BACK-ORDERS: All in stock orders are normally processed the next business day after your order is placed. If an item(s) is out of stock there may be a slight delay while we back-order the item(s) at no extra charge to you. We pay any additional costs for shipping back-orders. You will not be charged for the back-ordered item(s) until we ship it to you.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Jerry Lee’s Music is not responsible for typographical errors in pricing, or errors concerning product descriptions and specifications on our web site. Prices are subject to change without notice.

What if I receive a defective product?

If you believe you’ve received a defective product, contact our support team at (912-576-4401), and speak with a Tech Support specialist. If we determine the unit failed under warranty within 30 days of purchase we will cover shipping costs within the U.S. to replace the unit for you.

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied with any product, for any reason, you may return it for a refund of the purchase price, an in-house credit, or exchange for another product within a fair amount of time from the shipping date (usually 30 days). If your purchase was eligible for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from your credit or refund.

To help you avoid a return adjustment, our warehouse staff has provided a handy checklist to show you exactly how to ship a product back to us:

  • Item must include include a return authorization (RA) number

  • Item must be in new condition

  • Item must be in the complete original packaging

  • All accessories that were originally included must be returned

  • All literature that was originally included—manuals, warranty card, etc.—must be returned in new condition

  • Double-box the product before shipping

  • Use standard packing tape—no duct tape

  • Do not write on the original box

  • Affix shipping label with RA number

There are certain items that cannot be returned for very specific reasons. These items include:

  • Special orders

  • Software

  • Oversized or overweight items

  • Discontinued products, closeouts, and used products

  • Cymbals

  • Tubes

  • Personal items (earphones, harmonicas, instrument mouthpieces, etc.)
